Florida RV Camping - Bahia Honda State Park
Any RV travel plans to south Florida should include a trip to Bahia Honda State Park. RV camping in Florida doesn't get any more tropical than this. Bahia Honda offers unbelievable beaches, remarkable sunsets, superb snokeling, ocean kayaking, fishing, boating, and more.Bahia Honda is located on Big Pine Key, Florida, just 37 miles from Key West. Established as a railroad station when Henry Flagler built his railroad through the Florida keys, Bahia Honda is one of the most southermost parks and is truly unique. While RV camping is not available on the beach, you are never far away no matter where you go. The campsites do not have sewer hook up but there is a centralized dump station in the Buttonwood Campground. Reservations are HIGHLY recommended, especially during the busy season.
